DiscordPurger Extension
DiscordPurger is a browser extension that helps you find and delete your Discord messages. This policy describes what information the extension accesses and how it is handled.
Local processing
All processing happens locally in your browser. DiscordPurger has no backend server and your Discord session never leaves the Discord tab.
Data access
The extension reads your Discord session token, messages you choose to purge, usernames, user IDs, avatars, and channel or server names only while you use it on discord.com.
How data is used
Information is used solely to search for, preview, and delete Discord messages you select. Preferences and in-progress purge jobs are saved locally so you can resume later.
What we do not collect
We do not collect browsing history outside Discord, location data, financial or health information, or keystroke and mouse activity.
Data storage
UI settings and purge job progress are stored with chrome.storage.local on your device until you clear extension storage or uninstall the extension.
Third parties
The extension communicates only with Discord’s own services to perform actions you request. We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
Additional details
Your Discord session token is read from the open Discord tab so the extension can call Discord’s API on your behalf. The token is kept in browser memory and is not transmitted to Antidote or any other third-party server operated by the developer.
Message content processed during a purge exists only in memory and local storage for the duration of the job. Discord’s own privacy policy applies to data handled by Discord’s services.
DiscordPurger is not directed at children under 13. This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version.
