# Battling

You can fight monsters or other players. Wins give profile XP and rewards.

## Monsters

Use **`!battle`** to fight a monster.

Monsters have a level, which changes their stats. They can drop resources and equipment.

Resources are used for crafting. Equipment raises your stats.

## Players

Use **`!battle <player> [stake]`** to fight another player.

The stake is optional. If you add money, the winner takes it.

## Pets

Your pet helps in battle.

In PvP, pets fight each other first. If your pet wins, it then helps against the other player.

Monsters do not have pets, so your pet fights after your turn.

## Dungeon

> The dungeon can pay well, but it is risky. You can lose the **500,000** entry fee and get nothing back.

Use **`!dungeon`** to enter and fight for extra rewards.

# Introduction

Antidote is a Discord bot that helps you set up and run a server. It also includes an RPG you can play with friends.

## What you can do

### Easy setup

Most features are turned on from the [dashboard](/dashboard). You can usually get a server running in a few minutes.

### RPG

Fight monsters, battle other players, level up, earn money, own casinos, and more. Open the RPG pages in the sidebar to learn the details.

### Voice Control

Let members create and manage their own voice channels. They can lock, hide, rename, kick, ban, and whitelist people.

### Antinuke

Stop people with permissions from wrecking your server. If someone bans, kicks, or deletes too much too fast, Antidote can jail, strip roles, kick, or ban them.

Greet people when they join, and optionally send a message when they leave. You can use a saved embed for this.

Introduction

# Antinuke

Antinuke stops people with permissions from wrecking your server.

You pick a limit, like **5 bans in 10 minutes**. If someone goes over that limit, Antidote punishes them.

## Quick setup

1. Turn **Antinuke** on in the [dashboard](/dashboard), or run **`antinuke setup`** in Discord.
2. Put Antidote’s role **high enough** to manage roles and jail people.
3. If you want **Jail**, set a jail role and jail channel under **Moderation**. If you skip that, Antidote can still strip dangerous roles.

## Logging

When Antinuke punishes someone, it can post a log and ping roles.

Set this in the dashboard: **Modules → Logging → Antinuke**. You can open that tab directly by adding `#antinuke` to the Logging module URL.

Enable the **Logging** module and pick a channel, or nothing is posted.

## What each module watches

Each module has its **own** limit, punishment, and Cmd detection switch. Going over the ban limit does **not** reset the channel limit.

## Limits

A limit is how many times one person can do that action in a short window.

| Setting | Meaning |
| ------- | ------- |
| **Instant** | Punish on the first action. Only use this if you really want it. |
| **3 actions / 5m** | 3 actions in 5 minutes |
| **5 actions / 10m** | 5 actions in 10 minutes (good default) |
| **7 actions / 30m** | 7 actions in 30 minutes |
| **10 actions / 60m** | 10 actions in 60 minutes |
| **15 actions / 60m** | 15 actions in 60 minutes |
| **20 actions / 60m** | 20 actions in 60 minutes |

Use tighter limits on public servers. Small staff teams can use looser ones.

## Punishments

| Punishment | What happens |
| ---------- | ------------ |
| **Jail + strip** | Takes away dangerous permissions, then jails them. If jail isn’t set up, it still strips roles. |
| **Strip roles** | Removes roles that can ban, kick, or manage the server, channels, roles, and webhooks. |
| **Ban** | Bans them from the server. |
| **Kick** | Kicks them from the server. |

Strip is a fast lock-down. It is not a full review of every role on the server.

## Cmd detection

Each module has a **Cmd detection** switch. It decides whether Discord commands (slash commands and similar) count toward the limit.

- **On** — command actions count.
- **Off** — command actions are ignored for that module. Use this if staff often moderate with commands and you don’t want that to trip Antinuke.

> Antinuke only counts actions Discord’s audit log can show, and only when it can tell **who** did them.

## Trusted people

- **Super admins** can change Antinuke settings. Only the server owner can add them.
- **Whitelisted members** are not punished.
- **Whitelisted roles** skip people who have that role.

Whitelist logging bots, ticket bots, and staff who need to do bulk actions.

## Permissions Antidote needs

- **View Audit Log**
- **Ban Members** and **Kick Members** (if you use those punishments)
- **Manage Roles** (for strip and jail)
- **Manage Channels**
- **Manage Webhooks**
- **Manage Expressions** (emojis and stickers)
- **Manage Server**

If a permission is missing, the punishment may not work.

## Extra commands

- **`antinuke view @user`** — see how close someone is to a limit right now
- **`antinuke clear @user`** — reset their current counts so they can keep working

These are live counts, not a history log.


Antinuke

# Auto Nuke

Auto Nuke recreates a Discord channel on a timer.

The new channel keeps the same name, permissions, topic, category, and slowmode. The old messages are gone from the live channel, unless you use archive mode.

This is **not** the same as [Antinuke](/docs/antinuke). Antinuke stops raids. Auto Nuke cleans a channel on a schedule.

## What happens

1. Antidote copies the channel’s settings.
2. If you chose archive mode, it keeps a copy of the old channel for staff.
3. It creates a new live channel with the same settings, then deletes the old live channel.
4. Other Antidote features (welcomer, tickets, automod logs, and similar) are pointed at the **new** channel automatically.

> **Recreate only** wipes the live channel. **Archive then recreate** keeps a separate copy staff can still read. Pins, threads, and old bot panels are not rebuilt on the new channel.

## Modes

| Mode | What it does |
| ---- | ------------ |
| **Recreate only** | Deletes the channel and makes a fresh one with the same settings. |
| **Archive then recreate** | Makes a hidden archive copy first, then recreates the live channel. |

### Archive options

- **Roles that can view archives** — required. Those roles can see the archive. Everyone else cannot.
- **Archive category** — optional. If you leave it empty, Antidote uses or creates **`auto-nuke-archives`**.

Archive channels are only for history. They are not used by welcomer or other modules.

## Schedule

The timer starts from the last successful run, not from a clock time like “every day at 8.”

| Interval | How often |
| -------- | --------- |
| **Hourly** | Every 1 hour |
| **Daily** | Every 24 hours |
| **Weekly** | Every 7 days |
| **Monthly** | Every 30 days |

Disabled rules are skipped. The dashboard shows **Last run** after a successful nuke.

## Manual nuke

Staff can also run **`nuke`** in Discord to recreate a channel right away. You get a confirm button first.

- You and Antidote both need **Manage Channels**.
- Text and voice channels only.
- System / rules / community channels cannot be nuked.

> A manual `nuke` does **not** update the channel saved on your Auto Nuke rule. Edit the rule to point at the new channel, or wait for the next successful scheduled run.

## Permissions

Antidote needs **Manage Channels**. For archive mode it also needs to create channels in the archive category and set who can see them.

If a run fails, the dashboard can show an error and the timer does not move forward.

## Dashboard steps

1. Click **Add channel** and pick a text or voice channel.
2. Set **Enabled**, the interval, and the mode.
3. For archive mode, pick the roles (and optionally a category).
4. Click **Save all**.
5. Use edit or trash on a row to change or remove it.

You can add more than one channel, each with its own schedule.

Autonuke channel

# Autoresponder

Autoresponders watch messages or reactions and reply for you.

They can send text, a saved embed, a reaction, or a mix of those.

## Limits

Free servers can usually save **2** autoresponders. Premium can usually save **50**. Your live plan in the dashboard is the real limit.

> A rule must send a **message**, an **embed**, or a **reaction**. Empty rules cannot be saved.

## How they run

- **Message** rules run when someone sends a message the bot can see.
- **Reaction** rules run when someone adds that emoji (and optionally when they remove it).
- Changes can take a few minutes to show up.

Test in a private channel first. More than one rule can fire on the same message.

## Message trigger

You pick the **trigger text** and how it should match:

| Match type | When it fires |
| ---------- | ------------- |
| **Check entire message** | The message **contains** the text anywhere |
| **Check start** | The message **starts with** the text |
| **Check end** | The message **ends with** the text |

Matching ignores capital letters.

> That option still matches if the text appears **anywhere** in the message. Use **starts with** or **ends with** if you want it stricter.

## Reaction trigger

| Option | Meaning |
| ------ | ------- |
| **Reaction to monitor** | A **server emoji** to watch. Normal Unicode emojis cannot be picked here. |
| **Any message** | Fires on that emoji, no matter what the message says. |
| **Only matching messages** | The message text must match exactly (ignoring capital letters). |
| **Also check remove** | Removing the emoji can fire the same response. |

Reactions from bots are ignored.

## Extra options

| Option | What it does |
| ------ | ------------ |
| **Delete trigger message** | Deletes the original message after the delay you set. `0` means delete right away. |
| **Use reply** | Sends the text response as a reply. Embeds still post as a normal message. |
| **Self destruct** | Deletes the trigger message after 0–60 seconds. |

## Responses

You can turn on more than one:

- **Send a message** — plain text. Uses reply if that option is on.
- **Send an embed** — a saved server embed.
- **Send a reaction** — Antidote reacts with a server emoji.

## Tips

- Use a specific trigger so it does not fire all the time in busy channels.
- Remember that delete / self destruct removes the original message.

# Booster Roles

Booster roles let members get their own role for boosting your server.

## Setup

Open the [dashboard](https://antidote.bot/dashboard), pick your server, go to **Modules**, then open **Booster Roles**.

The options on that page are straightforward. After you save, members can see booster role info in Discord.

We recommend setting a **pinned role**. New booster roles are created next to it.

# Role templates

A role template is a ready-made pack of embeds, roles, and reaction menus.

You copy or edit it in the dashboard, then run it so Antidote can create the Discord roles, post the embeds, and attach the menus.

## Copy from the library

1. Open **Templates library** and view a template.
2. **Copy to server** puts it under **My templates**.
3. You can edit, run, or delete that copy without changing the library.

Deleting a server template only deletes the saved setup in Antidote. Roles and messages already created in Discord stay.

## Edit a template

Each embed is its own card, with:

- name, color, title, and description
- optional author, footer, images, and fields
- roles under that embed: name, color, and reaction emoji

Before you can save:

- every role needs an emoji
- two roles in the same embed cannot share the same emoji

## Run a template

- **Channel** — required. Embeds and menus are posted there.
- **Anchor role** — optional. New roles are placed near this role in the list.
- **Execute** — creates the roles, saves the embeds, and sets up the menus.

If a role name already exists, Antidote reuses or updates it. Read the warning before you confirm.

You need dashboard access. Antidote needs **Manage Roles** and a role **above** the roles it creates.

## Discord command

Admins can also run **`template <template_id>`** in a channel. The ID is the number shown on your server template in the dashboard.

Use **Execute template** in the dashboard if you want to pick the channel and anchor role without typing IDs.

# Role menus

Role menus let members pick roles by reacting to a message.

You pair each role with an emoji in the dashboard, then run a short command on the message you want to use.

## Limits

Typical caps:

- **Role menus** — 10 free / 250 premium
- **Role menu groups** — 2 free / 25 premium

Your dashboard shows the real limit for your plan.

## Menu options

These apply when the menu is **not** in a group:

- **Name** — only used in the dashboard list
- **Group** — optional. If you add the menu to a group, some settings move to the group instead
- **Require one role** — members must keep at least one role from this menu
- **Remove old role** — picking a new role from this menu can remove their previous choice from the same menu
- **Reaction roles** — one emoji + one Discord role per row
- **Required roles** — members need at least one of these roles to use the menu
- **Ignored roles** — members with any of these roles cannot use it

### DMs

For standalone menus you can:

- send Antidote’s default DM when a role is given or taken
- turn DMs off
- send custom saved embeds instead

## Groups

Use a group when several menus should share the same rules, like color roles that cannot stack.

The group controls:

- required and ignored roles
- whether picking a new role removes the old one
- whether members must keep at least one role
- DM settings for every menu in the group

If you later remove a menu from the group, that menu’s own DM settings come back.

## Post it in Discord

After you save, the dashboard shows a command like **`rolemenu create <menu_id>`**. Use your server’s prefix.

Reply to the message, or pass the message ID. Antidote adds the reactions and starts listening.

> Antidote’s role must sit **above** the roles it gives, or Discord will block it.

## Remove a menu from a message

Use **`rolemenu clear`** with the message ID (Developer Mode → Copy ID), or reply to that message. Check in-Discord help for the exact usage.

Items are used all over the RPG.

- **Equipment** raises your battle stats.
- Some items boost skills, robbery, or crime.
- Resources like wood, ore, and leather are used for skilling and crafting.

Use **`!inventory`** to see what you own.

Use **`!shop`** to browse and buy items.

### Salvaging

Break items down for resources with salvaging.

You get about **half** of the resources the item was made from, plus XP.

Use **`!salvageinfo`** to see recipes.

# Cars

You can steal cars, race them, repair them, or sell them.

Durability affects speed and price.

## Stealing

Use **`!steal`**. You can do this **once per hour**.

The stolen car gets a random durability. Price depends on durability, rarity, and type.

## Selling

Use **`!car sell <car_id>`**.

## Racing

Use **`!race`** to race for fun, or **`!race <user> <amount>`** to race for money.

The other player has to accept. Then you both pick a car.

## Repairing

Repairing costs money based on how damaged the car is. How much durability you get back is random — sometimes almost all of it, sometimes almost none.

That result changes the car’s speed and sell price.

# Pets

Pets can spawn in chat. The chance is **1 in 2500** messages.

Press **Adopt** to try to claim one. Each try has a **40%** chance.

You can also find pets while training the hunting skill.

Rarity changes a pet’s starting stats. Use **`!pet`** to view yours.

## Stats and training

Pets start with different attack and health. You can train a pet up to **level 30**.

# Automod

Automod watches messages and takes action for you.

You create **rules** in the dashboard. Each rule looks for something specific (bad words, spam, sketchy links, and more). If someone trips the rule often enough, Antidote can warn them and punish them.

## What Antidote needs

The bot must be able to **read messages**, **delete messages** (if you turn that on), and apply the punishment you pick (timeout, kick, jail, and so on).

If a rule does not seem to work, check Antidote’s role and channel permissions.

## How a rule works

1. Someone sends a message that matches the rule.
2. That counts as one hit for that person.
3. If they get enough hits in the time window you set, the punishment runs.
4. You can also log hits, delete the message, and send a warning.

> [!tip] One rule per trigger
> You usually cannot create two rules with the same trigger. If you already have “blacklisted word in message,” edit that rule instead of making another one.

## Blacklisted words

Word rules share one word list for your server. Manage it with **Manage blacklisted words**.

You can check:

- **Message only** — the message text
- **Name only** — username or nickname
- **Message or name** — either one
- **Strict** — a tighter match

Turn on **Check unicode** to catch people hiding letters with lookalike characters.

## Other triggers

| Trigger | What it watches |
| ------- | --------------- |
| **Message matches regex** | A pattern you write. For advanced setups. Bad patterns are ignored. |
| **Emote spam** | Too many emojis in one message |
| **Someone spams mentions** | Too many @mentions in one message |
| **URL that is not related to Discord** | Links that are not normal Discord links |
| **Discord server invites** | Invites to other servers. Your own invite is allowed. |
| **Harmful images / scam images** | Images that match known scam screenshots |

> Try a new rule in a staff-only channel before you turn it on for everyone.

## Limits

For spam-style rules you set:

- how many emojis or mentions count as one bad message
- how many times someone can trip the rule
- how many minutes that window lasts

Think of it as: “this many strikes in this many minutes, then take action.”

## Punishments and warnings

When the limit is reached, you can **warn only**, **jail**, **mute**, **timeout**, **kick**, **ban**, or do nothing extra.

- Mute and timeout also need a **duration**.
- Warnings can go to **DM** or the **channel**, and can use a saved embed.
- **Delete trigger message** removes the message that caused the hit.

## Ignored roles

Pick roles that should never be punished, usually staff or bots.

## Plan limits

How many rules you can save depends on your plan. If you hit the cap, remove an old rule or upgrade.

## After you save

Changes can take a minute or two to show up in Discord.

# Server Events

Antidote can drop money, spawn pets, and run fun events in chat. These keep the server active.

## Money drops

By default, a money drop happens every **250 messages**.

You can change this in the economy module on the dashboard:

You can turn drops off, or limit them to one channel. We recommend leaving them on — people like claiming them.

## Pet spawns

Pets spawn less often: about every **2500 messages**. Rarer pets are less likely to appear. Members can try to adopt them.

You can limit pet spawns to one channel, or turn them off:

## Fun events

Fun events can also be turned off, or limited to one channel, in the fun module. That keeps them from spamming every chat.
